How can I care for my Spa?

Change Water and Initial Chemicals

Daily Care: Use test strips to check Bromine, PH, and Alkalinity levels and adjust accordingly. Use 1Tbs Renew after every use to maintain Oxidation. Monitor water level and top off as needed.

Weekly Care: Stain & Scale and Enzyme cleaner should be added to maintain plumbing and surface of the tub. Add Bromine tablets as needed per test strip readings.

Monthly Care: Rinse filter thoroughly with high-pressure water. Change the water every 2-3 months based on bather load. Excessive foam, odor or milky looking water are signs of needing a water change.

Annual Check-Ups: It's a good idea to have your spa checked for any potential problems before the temperature dips below freezing. Any leaky pump seals or worn out circ pumps or heaters should be replaced before they cause any extensive damage. Also, if your cover is getting a little heavy, it's a good idea to replace that before it breaks your cover lifter (if you have one).

Other Tips: Any cracks or leaks in your cover will allow heat and moisture to escape, so keep your cover in good condition. Covers generally need replacing every 5-10 years depending on exposure to the elements. If the corners bounce when you tap them, a small weight can be placed on each corner to prevent evaporation and heat loss.

We also change water and initial chemicals for your home spa!
